How to Court the Demon Monarch

You are a lone human in a demon dimension, armed with a single ambition: to court the Demon Monarch. In order to win their interest you must sneak into their Ball, impress the room with your conversation skills, and eavesdrop on the partygoers to learn the Monarch's deepest desires. 

Even demons would consider this task near-impossible – for a human, it is unthinkable. You are the wrong kind of snack. Can you make it out in one undigested piece?
